A KPI dashboard for small business that people actually open.
A KPI dashboard puts your most important numbers on one screen. KPIs are the few numbers that tell you how the business is doing. We pull them automatically from your tools, then set up a short Monday review where every number has an owner. The dashboard gathers and flags. A person decides what to do.
The numbers aren't missing. They live in five different tools.
Sales sit in the CRM (the customer database your team works from). Money sits in QuickBooks. Website visits sit in Google Analytics 4. Calls sit in the phone system. Nobody looks at them together, so meetings run on memory.
We pick five or six numbers that matter and put them on one business dashboard. Then comes the part most dashboards skip: a short Monday review where each number has one owner who says what changed and what to do.
Monday numbers.
The machine gathers and flags. People decide.
From this week's numbers to next week's progress.
- Machines run it: Numbers pulled
Overnight, each tool sends its numbers to one place.
- Machines run it: Scorecard built
They land in the same layout every week, next to last week and the target.
- Machines run it: Changes flagged
Any number that slips past its limit gets a mark.
- People keep it: Team reviews
A short Monday meeting. Each owner speaks to their number.
- People keep it: Decisions made
For a slipped number, the owner says why and what to try.
- People keep it: Tasks assigned
Each decision gets one person and one due date.
- Machines run it: Progress tracked
The project tool shows what is done. Next Monday shows if it worked.
Sample automations.
What each pulls, what it does, and what a person checks.
| Automation | Pulls from | What it does | A person checks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Money in and owed | QuickBooks | Adds paid and overdue totals to the scorecard each morning | Whether an overdue amount is a real problem or just timing |
| New leads by source | HubSpot | Counts new leads each week and where each one came from | Odd entries, like spam or duplicates |
| Website visits | Google Analytics 4 | Adds visits and form fills to the scorecard | Whether a drop is real or a broken tracking tag |
| Calls answered | The phone system | Counts answered and missed calls for the week | Missed calls at busy times of day |
| Slipped number alert | The scorecard | Messages a number's owner when it passes its limit | What is behind it, before the meeting |

What this isn't.
Plain answers to the things owners worry about most.
Questions about KPI dashboards.
What is a KPI dashboard for a small business?
One screen with the few numbers that show how the business is doing, pulled from your tools automatically. Each shows this week, last week and the target.
Which numbers should be on it?
The ones that lead to a decision. We choose them with you, usually leads, jobs booked, money collected, and one or two early warnings.
Do you offer Power BI consulting?
Yes. We build in Power BI for teams on Microsoft 365, and in Looker Studio or Google Sheets for teams on Google Workspace.
What is KPI reporting, and how is this different?
KPI reporting is sharing your key numbers on a regular schedule. Ours updates itself, so nobody rebuilds a spreadsheet each week, and it ends in a Monday review.
Where does our data go?
Numbers are copied from your tools into a dashboard in your own account. We build inside the tools you already use, and you own every account.
What does it cost?
The Review is two weeks with a fixed fee quoted before work starts. A Build covers a fixed list of work, usually 4 to 10 weeks.
Start with a two-week review.
Fixed price. At the end, you get a ranked plan: what to fix first, what it saves you, and what it protects.
